Bridge View Bed & Breakfast is in the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park. This is an ideal location from which to explore the many attractions of North Wales, including the coast, Snowdonia, and Anglesey.

Betws-y-Coed has a wide range of places to eat in the evening including pubs, restaurants and cafés. The village also has a good selection of shops including craft/gift shops, and outdoor shops with well known names like Hawkshead, Cotswold Outdoor and Stewart Cunningham, and local names like the Anna Davies.

There are many interesting attractions in the area including Bodnant Garden (National Trust) which is just down the Conwy Valley, Swallow Falls, and the famous Italianate village of Portmeirion.

The area has many historical attractions including the walled town of Conwy with its fine castle. There are also other castles to be visited at Caernarfon, Dolwyddelan and Harlech. Wales is famous for its steam railways, and the Ffestiniog Railway, Welsh Highland Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway and Llangollen Railway are all within easy reach.

Activities to be enjoyed in the area include walking and climbing. There are scenic low level walks in the surrounding forest, with rivers and lakes to explore, or more strenuous hiking in the higher mountains of the Carneddau and Snowdon.

Mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, bird watching and horse riding are also well catered for in this area of Snowdonia. There are numerous local golf courses including a 9 hole course in Betws-y-Coed.

Ideal Location for Exploring Snowdonia and North Wales

Bridge View Bed & Breakfast is in the popular mountain resort of Betws-y-Coed in North Wales and is well connected to the UK's road network via North Wales's A55 coastal expressway which links to the M6, and the A5 from the M54. There is a train station in the town which connects to Llandudno Junction station which is on the UK mainline network. Car parking is available at the B&B.
